Is This The Best I can Do

Quest excepted I shall pass the fields of rams horn snails, go through the caves of blind tetras, climb the peak of discus mt., navigate the canyon of rasboras, and at the end of my journey I will slay the dragon known as a Asian arowana just for that betta
 It'll be impossible quest to do. He's got hundreds of hidden cameras around his tank  I wish best luck to you ;)

Is is also guarded with 5 arowanas twice as big as the normal arowana, ramshorn snails have diamond armour and lava pit is guarded with fire breathing pterodactyls and temperatures here are 100 F. It is extremly physically and scientificaly impossible :D

Look into kuhlis, they should be good with the betta temperature and a betta has more chances of accepting fish like this over other species...

Kuhli loaches (pangio kuhli/pangio seminica) or java loaches (pangio oblonga) would be your best choice. In a 15 gal, id only go 6-8 tops, as ideally they do better in a 20g, but footprint of a 15 often isnt that much smaller.

OP is planning a Fluval flex which is a cube. Its only 2/3 the length of a standard 20G.

try rosy loaches or the hovering loach (Micronemacheilus cruciatus)
Here, Rachel O'Leary did a article on them. :)

Possibly 6 of the loaches dwarfcichlidlvr said.

Only thing... they do occupy more than just the substrate, so it may not work out depending on your betta. Female bettas are more likely to accept some types of bottom dwellers, but it's always a gamble.

6.) 16oz API water conditioner$7
Going back to your list, get a smaller bottle. This dechlorinator uses 1 drop per gallon. The 4 oz bottle treats 1770 gallons (I have one) so the 16 oz bottle treats 7080 gallons. If you do a 50% water change every week, that will last 17 years so you'd only use a fraction of the bottle before it reaches its use by date. Even if you have to use the higher rate of 3 drops per gallon (for chloramine) it will still last nearly 6 years.

The 1 oz bottle has a dropper in the lid which makes it easier to dose smaller volumes. The larger bottles have a cup. I bought the 1 oz bottle so I had a dropper lid, then when that ran out I bought the 4 oz bottle and use that to refill the 1 oz bottle.

1 oz bottle

Or get the 4 oz bottle and a pipette/dropper to measure drops with.

Thank you @essjay I will get the 4oz bottle and a 20 gallon kit online that will save me money and allow me to keep the kuhli loches. It also comes with a Tetra Wisper 30 is this a good filter?because I don’t want to get filter cartridge scammed. And if not should I go for the aquaclear 30 as a upgrade?

I have never used a HOB filter so I'll leave that aspect to someone who knows about them.

The 20 gallon is probably cheaper than the Flex as well as being bigger :)

Yes it is bigger and cheaper and than stand I chose has multiple shelves in case I get MTS @essjay and it is 20 tall can I keep kuhlis or cories if the betta will allow it. And to try to save money on this setup can I use some flat rocks in my backyard, I can send a picture of needed.
