I explained it in the prior post but may have been confusing. Sorry! First time you do a 70% water change and add 1 tablespoon per every 5 gallons of total water in tank. After that, because salt doesn’t dissipate, you will only add 3/4 tablespoon per every 5 gallons of water in tank since you are only removing 70% of water. Be sure it is dissolved first. :)
Thanks so much! Doing that today and gonna go find some garlic gaurd

If you are worried, cut the salt dosage in half.

got some bad news... I just got done with work and went to do the water change and that rainbow I posted that had it really bad has unfortunately died. This sucks. I did everything I could I feel so bad.
I’ve set up a quarantine tank because I never want to go through this again.
I noticed only one other fish is showing white dots, I’m thinking about putting him in the quarantine tank

So my tank is ich free! Thanks so much for the help you all really saved my ass. I set the temp to 74 today.

Lol the little band to hold the doors shut is to stop my son from getting in there he is at that age.

You need a picture on the back of the tank to make the fish feel more comfortable.

I would move the filter to the centre of the tank so there is less water splash on the end of the light unit.

Get some Ambulia or Hygrophila polysperma to grow along the back and sides of the tank. And some Water Sprite (Ceratopteris thalictroides/ cornuta) to grow on the surface. If the Water Sprite grows too fast, you can plant it in the substrate where it grows into a nice light green shrub.

Make sure the rainbows get plenty of plant matter in their diet. You can use vege flakes/ pellets, Duckweed (floating plant), or marine algae.

An alternative suggestion is to hang your filter on the side wall so the flow runs across the full length of the tank.

I think the light unit will prevent the filter from sitting on the side.
