before people tell me to do my research, trust me i have! My betta looked like this when he came from the LFS that is why im not sure if it is Fin Rot or not. Also, when i search up 'Veiltail Betta' they kind of look the same, but I'm still paranoid.
Also, no hate please i came off another forum once because i felt targeted.
Also, they look pixelated because i couldnt upload them from my laptop so i had to take a picture of them on my laptop from my phone haha

From the photos it doesn't look like finrot. But in your other thread, you list the other fish in the same tank, and some of them have the potential to stress him, which could lead to finrot.

Bettas are better kept on their own, something which so many shops don't seem to understand. My betta lives on his own in a 25 litre tank; the rest of my fish live in a 180 litre tank - though i also started off small with just a 60 litre tank, then things sort of spiralled upwards via 125 litres :)

Thanks for your answer! I did do lots of research and found almost 90% of bettas are fine in a community tank, (again not my statistic haha) i might buy a seperate 30litre for him soon.

I completely disagree with this statistic. "fine" is not good IMO. I'd do "fine" living in a tent - I wouldn't die, and technically, I'd have everything I need to survive - protection from the elements, privacy etc but would I be happy - probably not as happy as I would be living in my house.

If you want a fish to be truly happy then you have to try and recreate the conditions they choose in the wild, and for bettas that is living on their own. All of our pets get stuck with whatever conditions we inflict upon them - I think the least we can do is make that as natural as possible.
