Is There A 70-75Cm Tank?

I'd be surprised if P@H would do a special order like that, you'd be more likely to see that kind of customer service at an independant.

Hmm there aren't many independents near me, I have all the big chain stores (PaH, MA, WoW).  I'll have to ask around.

Took me a second then to work out why World of Warcraft would order you a fish tank. Then the penny dropped. We don't have one of those around here.

In a highly populated area like Berkshire? Which bit of Berkshire are you in?

Lol I was wondering if anyone would read 'World of Warcraft' when I wrote it but I thought nah, this is a fishy site they'll know I mean World of Water! ;)

TLM: south of Reading.  There might be an independent in Bracknell not far away but I think it closed down recently, they had a bit of trouble I heard.  I'll have another look for small shops, I never really had to look before because I have so many great fish stores in easy reach!

Yep don't worry I checked Yell!  Everything in 5 miles of me is a big chain store believe or not.  Never had to look further before but now I've got a good reason to broaden my search a bit!

I'd still be amazed if there isn't an indy somewhere in Reading.

Doesn't MBOU work at a MA near Reading - may be worth asking if she can help?

I've finally found the perfect tank for me!

The Aqua One Evo 70
Dimensions 70cm x 41cm, height 55cm.  Gives 120L (some sources say 135L) or 31/35 gallons.

I want this tank!  Problem is nobody sells it in the UK any more :(

There's one for sale on ebay in Aldershot if that helps you.

That's how I found out about it but I need the cabinet as well.  Not sure what to do

I checked and the Evo 70 is discontinued - what a shame!
I looked into getting a custom stand for the second hand tank.  Maidenhead Aquatics gave a rough quote of £200 but I didn't really want to pay more than about £120 for a stand.  I don't really need a fancy expensive cabinet, it's going in the kitchen so a simple beech unit would match nicely.  Maybe Clearseal could do one but their nearest supplier is miles away from me.

The Juwel Lido 120 has caught my eye now.  It's about the same capacity as the Evo 70 but only 60cm wide and a bit taller.  I didn't really want a very tall tank but the 120 litres is very tempting and I like the 40cm depth.
