well i wan gonna let the tank and the gravel and the divider soak in bleach water then rinse rinse rinse and THEN let them soak in salt water (removes the bleach) then rinse rinse rinse with HOTT water!!!

cause i dont have the money right now what really sucks about the death is... i lost velvet saturday to dropsy!! and now vee-vee...

it's brutal stuff, glad ive never had to deal with it, but if i was you id sit and think about anything that was put in that tank that could transfer it to other tanks or media and give them a good boil or scrub too

yea i just now realised... freckles is in a 1G that had a dropsy victcom in it (and he died) AHHH So freckles is being watching very VERY carefully (as he is my first betta and he is so beautiful)
cause i moved him to a 1/2 G containor

so im sterilizing the 1G and freckles ornaments.. 0.o ITS SO CONFUSING!

I'm really so very sorry for the loss.
I just rewired my whole home internet setup in hopes I'd be able to get online tonight and see how she's doing. Be glad that she was able to decide when it was time. Dropsy is a VERY tough disease, one I've not yet had to battle.

You did everything you could - always remember that.

I'm very sorry for your loss...I had an experiance with Dropsy before, and my mum had with both her bettas as well. Hers had gotten far more worse than mine. Hers ballooned up greatly, mine started to, then passed. I didn't get a chance really. My mum tried to medicate hers, but he was too far gone by the time we realized what it was. *hugs* Vee Vee is in a better place now, try to think of that. Regardless of how long she was with you, she loved you muchly.

Very very true on that retrospect. I'd rather them go themselves than me having to do it tho. I've had to euthenize one too many times. >.<

bettamomma is lucky i have encountered this disease 2 times ...i lost Ani and Lightning to VERY bad dropsy they both were really pine coned mine dont last much longer after a day mine usually last 1-5 hours after i noticed the disease..i have pics of lightning's burrial it includes a pic of him before the containor it was very hard to get a pic i wanted to get a pic of his pine coning to show the dropsy symptoms..it would of been easier if he was fresh not frozen

my gurl died 1 day after i notice small pineocning... i should of came to you guys first I HATE MYSELF!!! i suspected dropsy but i was too stupid to follow my instincts cause i knew that they are usually wrong
