Many of us now have an iphone/nokia or a phone running android platform, could we look into making the forum iphone friendly please?

Tapatalk is a forum app for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Nokia. The app provides super fast forum access to any vBulletin, phpBB forums that have activated Tapatalk (Simple Machine Forum and IP.Board are in development). Forum owner can download the free plug-in to activate Tapatalk in your forum.

Hi SeffieUK....this forum is Invision Power Board. However, I will alert admin about this. SH

I guess I'm going to have to look into an iPhone. Love my Blackberry but it seems that everything is going the iPhone way. Our company has a great real estate app but not available for BBs, only iPhones.

If it's free and doesn't cost the forum anything, I think it's a no-brainer to do.

Agree with rdd. I have a BB. On the flip side, I do mostly messaging, email and internet. BB is great for flipping between all three which I believe Iphone doesn't do without having to close the program. In addition, I've been with Verizon for years and switching to AT&T, well........

You are right, you do have to shut down one app to use another  but to me its no big deal.

The Tapatalk is working on a version for IP board, which is why i thought it might be of use to us soon :good:

No, it isn't a big deal, especially when it saves your work on the closed app, especially in e-mail and texting. Shoot, it even saves my solitare game.

I'd love an app that allows me to access TFF. Yes, I can set a bookmark on my apps page, but it's not quite the same. facebook run on safari doesn't run the same as the facebook app, and TFF looks nasty on safari.

It workson my iphone, but it looks a hell of a lot better if i switch it to a standard theme. the mobile themeseems to just stripall the css. (hence no images)

did come across this though http://community.invisionpower.com/blog/2619/entry-3591-new-iphone-skin-released/

I know what phone I will be getting if we get an app for TFF!

I am going to keep an eye on this thread!

TFF is pucka on my Ipod, I don't know what skin you use, but I use I board pro and it looks like it does normally.

When I go to the site, it loads with a "mobile" version, I'll take a screenshot next time I view from my phone. I then usually click on the link to change the theme manually, and it'll load it up in the standard theme, which looks much nicer.

but a theme specifically designed for more modern mobile devices would be great. even better than the standard themes on these phones. Plus, If it's designed for a mobile screen LIKE the iPhone, but doesn't use any iPhone specific functions (swipes to change pages or anything like that) thenit will make a better theme for both iPhones, Blackberrys, and android phones.

I don't have a pc at the mo and soley use my iPhone for eveything and have been doing so for about 5 months. A TFF app would be double mustard! As a newb to the hobby it's great as I can post a Question or query anytime and check for any answers during work, gym, at the pub.

Much of the latest upgrade runs on css. Trying to be forward thinking here, what would be the next step beyond iPhone? Help educate a guy like me who uses his cell phone to talk on. I really like to see this site keep up with technology, but not fads. If this is a tech advancement, which leads towards other tech driven aspects of life I can see it happening.

This is definatley tech advancement. You have to remember John, there is also a iPod Touch, not just the iPhone. I have an iPod Touch, and TFF looks pretty bad on there. A app would be nice. It is definately a tech advancement, google, zune, sprint, everyone is trying to match the iPhone and iPod touch, but they just can't. Ipod Touches and iPhones are becoming an everyday occurence. Most of my friends have the iPod Touch. It's not just a fad. Touch screen devices are kind of like "the technology of the future". Phones and hand held internet devices will never go back. I say we get a TFF app for the iPod Touch and iPhone.
