I'm with Itty on this one...I love zebra otos. What I wouldn't do for a couple of those for my tanks....

Zebras, obviously and I think my plecs are lovely looking (l134 and L052). Queen Arabesque and King Tigers are lovely. Gold nuggets too! Argh so many beautiful fish!!

for those of you that like spotted and bristly plecs you should get a L071 starry night ancistrus i got 1 and it's lovely, not bad prices either.

Starlights are pretty, Cheese Specialist, but they are dead serious at Catfish Planet about the black water conditions having to be met, as a few people here have found out through the years. Very hard to keep these little beauties alive in captivity.

At the risk of getting jumped on...

I think all plecos are ugly.
I have a golden nugget pleco and it does the job,
but it is still an ugly fish.

Danios are boring fish compared to plecs. I think you are obsessing about an extremely mediocre species.... is it just cus they are cheap?

I love fish with a character!
I'd take personality over looks any day when it comes to fish!
IMHO catfish have it all!
And Ghost Knifes are just astounding fish to keep and watch!

Danios aren't my cup of tea, but they're still nice fish.
