Here in Maryland, the longest black out I've had was a week after Hurrican Isabelle. A family friend of mine with a gorgeous salwater reef tank had to go out and buy a generator. He'd go a week without TV or air conditioning, but god forbid he lose his prized fish. We have iffy power here, sometimes going out for no reason or survives the worst conditions, like the Snowmageddon Snowpacalypse blizzards we had here two years ago......5-6 ft of snow! Couldn't leave the house for three days, but hey at least I had power
