There is no way for a fish without clown loach like prowess to get from the lower tank to the upper one, it may look cool but the only way to get it to work is to remove air from one side of the equation, you could get out the silicone and put a bead in thelittle "L" shape depression that you seat the hood in and dropping a good sized piece of glass in there then cutting two holes (one for a canister filter and one for the bridge) if you have no leaks ad remove all the air it will be as if the tank wer a component of the bridge, only the fish will enjoy it more because there will be room and maybe plants and the like (algea might be a problem so get a plec and a siamensis for hair)
