Neon tetras should not be kept in a tank that is uncycled and even if it is cycled less than 6 months old as they dont fair well.Better to return all the fish and cycle the tank without them. Its kinder to the fish and less work for you because if you dont to keep them alive you are going to have to do huge water changes for 6-8 weeks every single day!

I know, im talking about when the tank is cycled.Anyway op in case your confused heres a breakdown of what you have to do:Right now do a 90% water change if you haven't alreadyRehome all your fish as most of them are not suitable and your tank is not cycled.After that, read up in the begginers section on fishless cycling.Once cycled which can take up to 6 weeks unless you get some mature media, you can slowly add back suitable fish.Rehome the fish to someone with a large tank.*NOTE SHARK AND LOBSTER SHOULD BE THE FIRST TO GO*The shark will be suffering in there.
