" I Want Attention"

me and my fella started this 'hobby' together, and its in a way brought us closer, something different to do together(!)
when the kids are asleep we camp out on the floor together watching the fishes and deciding what size tank we want next and what we will put in it, what fish we would like etc etc. since getting fish our tv has hardly been on!

My husband doesn't mind me spending sp much time with my fish, as he is usually online or playing PS3. He thinks I have gone slightly insane, mind - and sometimes asks me to talk about something NOT fish related! My mum is funny though - I phone her and she says, can we not talk fish please? LOL :p

My boyfriend doesn't mind my fishy obsession. The only thing that bothers him is how much I spend on them, I've spent £50 this week on just redoing one of my tanks and buying new fish *cough* :p

Mine is not my hubby thats the issue, its my kids. I really let my hobby go down the drain over this past 14 months that my 2nd child, my son, has been born, its just been to busy with 2 kids under 3, but now I am back in the game. I brought myself a new tank yesterday and I am already back online looking for new ideas.

So they all just have to share my time and attention I have decided.

My OH is brill! He buys me fishtanks, ferries me round to my fave LFS (he's on first name terms with the owner and gets fed and watered by them while I spend my money) and the fish send him to sleep while he watches the tanks. All in all, I win

Been married for 36 years now & my wife's not very particular about the fish....... It's her Birthday today so I got her 4 Pearl Gouramis and 2 moonlights - told her I'll keep and breed them for her.... Some people just dont know how to show their appreciation....
