I Want A Nano.

I still couldn't do it... What about a Blue Tuxedo Pincusion urchin? They only grow to 3 inches, correct? Could I have more than one of them? Like three? And could they topple rocks?

And they won't fight or anything, right? Do they produce as much waste as fish? What do they eat?

Man o man n3....what ever happened to just a dartfish.....or clown....snails.....etc. You like the difficult esoterica? lol SH

Lol, I guess so. :D
Part of it's that I just went to the Baltimore Aquarium.
Oh, and I'm ecstatic about getting to have invertebrates. My tap water is alkaline (snails out) and there's lots of copper in it (so all other inverts are out), and that gives me an excuse to get an RO system. :D
Lol, another question. Will I have to feed my clean up crew or will they find their own food? What about the urchin?

Urchins are uber snails. They eat alge and lots of it.Even coraline alge.Add them as part of your cuc ,lets say one per 10 gallons. One per 5g if you feed it nori.

nori is dried sea weed that you can buy for cheap at asian food stores(its the alge they wrap sushi in)

And for an Ro system i recomend The filter guys they have awsome service.
I am getting the $124.00 – OCEAN WAVE SHELL FOUR STAGE 75 GPD REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM from them its the best bang for your buck i have found. :good:

Oh no, more questions!!!!!!!!!!! :hyper:
GPD = gallons per day, correct? Does that mean it makes 75g of water EVERY day? Or can you turn it off? Also, can you store RO water long term? Like, could I make 150g of water and store it in 284 two-liter bottles in my basement? Would it lose it's ROiness?

Yes it turns off. Also yes it is 75 gallons per day wich is vary good. And yes again and again you can store it.and finaly no it will not loose its "ROiness"as long as it is not left uncoverd.

Mkay, thanks. I've run out of questions for now... no, wait, I lied. I have another question. You (I think it was you) said that urchins are about one per 10g, but does that mean I wouldn't have any other clean up crew if I have 2 or 3 urchins?

I would say no,you still want snails, hermitcrabs etc.. but thata urchin will act as a giant snail.Lets say one urchin is like 5 turbo snails

They knock over rocks but they stay small and you can have more than one.

Agreed, I'd just put one in though, they'll get pretty big eentually ;)

I am with ski, For a nano one is plenty.
