I Think My Aeneus Are Cheating

I can still tell Big Mama apart from the other bronze. Sad to say, she seems to be showing her age now. She was a big one when I got her and she's still the biggest C. aeneus I have.

Wow! She is gorgeous. The reason I have some trouble telling some of my cories is that two tanks are so near the floor on a split stand, I have to lay on the floor to watch them. I am finally getting caught up enough to stop watch some of the less visable tanks. Also enough time to spend a little hanging out at TFF again. And of course the peppers are in a large planted tank and don't come out much as a group except when they are spawning. When I added the new group of peppers, I lost track of Rocky. I am thinking of moving them to a different environment. But it is not the first thing on a loooong list.

Yeah Big Mama and me: us old biddies must stick together.

I picked up two larger of the C.sterbai that I am hoping are females. I didn't notice them the first time and second times.

I must have had a "senior moment" today when I did my water changes. After spending most of the afternoon at it, I finally finished up and put the python away. It was then that I noticed that there was still one thirty gallon drained but not filled.

I ended up carrying water from the kitchen in pots to fill it, but IMO that was easier than dragging out the python and spending time getting the temperature right.

It's been one of those days!

I leave tank tops off or partially on all too often, usually when I'm pressed for time doing water changes. I don't find them open until the next time I go to feed, which is usually the next morning. I'm surprised I don't have more jumpers. Dang old timers disease kicking in.

I just had a brain scan do to check for that. Get this... They count the wrinkles in your brain. Now not only do we have to worry about them on our face & body, but the brain too...
It wasn't. They now they think I have ADD. At my age

Hey. At what age do we quit call it a brain fart and move on to senior moments? I am 37 now. Do I qualify? I forget more than I remember. I have a calender and notebook that I carry everywhere to make notes on or nothing gets done or remembered.

Me either. Today I'm the queen of senior moments. Spent 10 minutes looking for my glasses. Where were they? You guessed it on my head. Then I went looking for my car keys and asked my son if he saw them. Yep I went out earlier and started the car and left the keys there; all before 7:00. Today should prove interesting.

Speaking of brains, one of the ladies who lives in my "Over 55" apartment complex told me the doctors diagnosed her as having something wrong with the part of her brain that is used to remember names. She even forgot her newborn grandchild's name within minutes after she was told it, but her memory for everything else is fine.

I wish I had an excuse like that for forgetting names. I'm always embarrassing myself that way.

Yeah, like calling your daughter Andrew and your son Lauren. Now I just call them all Fred. Funny I have no problem remembering my cats ; all 12 of them. Go figure.

Hey... How long should a cory live? I got to thinking about it today, and mine is either 5 or 6 years old.
