winter is coming in and my turtles tank isnt too warm. inside of binders is cardboard (may seem off topic for a sec, lol) and i have A TON!!! at home. realize i am too young to know if this is completely true, but i thought it would make a good insulator. so, i colored the cardboard black, and triple insulated over the walls on the sides. my tank happens to be by a window, and my turtles are babies, so they probably are very demanding for heat. just thought id share my idea to anyone out there who is worried. any feedback would be great!

If you're really concerned about insulation you should look for something that traps air. For example something along the lines of pillow fluff.

Most people are concerned about the aesthetics though and to be honest so am I, I would just put the heat up in the room for myself.
