Same as me. I can't be bothered to wait for the kettle to boil so I end up drinking a pint of water quickly followed by a couple of fags (the cigarette type! :shifty: )

Pass me a glass of Champagne Jeeves..............

Tea, Coffee, what are they, some new fangled invention?

And PestControl, surely it is time you dived on in to the salty side, you have obvious good taste in dogs, so its only a matter of time my friend

Ah, so you like rotties too? :good:

I'm sure it is only a matter of time lol. I'm delving into Malawis ATM, which is supposed to be a step closer.

I'm sure I'll be joining you guys when I'm older and have lots of money lol.

cheers,
Ben :good:

I ditched my Malawi tank about 4 months ago for a 2nd Marine tank, lovely colours and characters but got bored with all the fish being a very similar shape. They are dirty little gits too.

Dobermanns are my first love, but Rotties come a close second and your dogs are gorgeous.

I used to have a dobermann, but lost him about 4 years ago to hip dysplasia. He was a great dog (We were his 9th owner in 18 months, nobody wanted him as he had a skin condition), but he was a bit yappy compared to rotties. He was great fun though, I remember chasing around Dalby forest with him when I was about 10.

TBH, I've been getting a bit bored with regular tropicals; all they do is swim up and down and up and down...
So I thought I'd give Malawis a try, and after quite a bit of research I realised that they would be well suited to the conditions of my tank, and they are much more interesting than regular tetras etc. My dad's mate has 1/2 a tonne of sandstone that I can choose from as he bought loads for his 8ft Malawi, and I think he uses some in his marine tanks as well.

I'm sure I'll be fine with the mess. Nothing's a match for me and my gravel vac. And I have 7bn's, so I have to be cleaning up mess anyway. At least they aren't like rottweilers, the amount of mess they make is obscene.

I see Afras on your list I had a beautiful breeding pair of those in my tank. Here's the Daddy

Cuban coffee is delicious.

I like Pomeranians, I have one, she is extremely cute.

Yep, will definitely need to make coffee soon.

They have amazing African cichlids at my local zoo. Outside, of course, because in Miami, you can. :)

Wow, he is amazing! What was your stocking, and tank size?

cheers :good:

It was a 450 litre with mixed Mbuna and Haps. The Link here is to my Malawi journal on the last page there is a post by me back in December showing the tank at its prime.

They have huge tanks of Malawis in Animal Kingdom in WDW, I have some shots taken through the water there of a mass of fish as far as the eye can see. If you have ever seen videos of them in the wild they are crammed in like they are in a tank, dozens of fish in every sq meter of water.

I like Pomeranians and so does my German Shepherd............but neither of us could eat a whole one.

Thanks for the reply. I've read through the whole thread, and it's great; very inspiring. I wish the parents would allow me to make a background, but unfortunately not, so I'm thinking of sticking some cunningly sliced rocks to the back glass with silicone to make it look like the tank's deeper.

Pomeranians look really cool. How did they get so fluffy lol.

I reckon I could manage a whole one, but I don't think I'll try. It took me ages getting my parents to allow me to cook rabbit that I shoot, and I think dogs is a step too far lol. I'm going to stop typing now, as I've just read what I've typed, and it sounds like I was actually considering eating pomeranians.

Just read your Malawi journel HG.

All I can say is awesome! :good:

I'll probably get slated for this, But I would have ditched the marine idea and kept the malawis!

Too late now tho!
