I Need Some Info On Discus Fishies

Every time I've gone to my LFS I've stopped to look at them; they're so pretty! Recently in my tank the fish have been dropping off, due to age. So I'll have some room soon. (The tank is ten gallons) So once everything clears out, I really want to get some Discus... I do not know if this can be done or not, due to tank size, etc. So could someone give me some more info on them? Thank you so much.

i dotn think that discus can be in a ten gallon as they grow very big, i think the minimum is 30 but may be even higher

yeah the minimum size in my opinion would be a 55 gallon tank. Discus can get to be 6 in. like a tennis ball and should be with either a mated pair or <4
