Probably played a major part. Still is slightly odd, test filled it twice before it cracked on the third (and real fill). The only differences were 3rd time was on the stand and used warm (about 28C) water rather than cold.

maybe it was just being weakened slowly on each fill, at least it happened then rather than 2months down the line with fish in!
