I Just Had To Have Them

That is rather nice.

It's actually two lumps of bogwood, similar size, placed upright against each other which has formed a cave inside and compliments the dimensions of the tank.  I bought several pieces when I was looking at putting some in there so I could play around with those I felt worked the best.

The fish love swimming in and out of it, the pleco lives up inside it and the shrimp crawl over it all day long.  Until I emptied the tank to change the substrate I had no idea I still had all four of my Amano shrimp in there.

Exciting times!  I have seen a baby Cory!

This is the first time Corys have ever bred for me.  Looking at it I believe it's a Panda though and not an orange laser, but considering I changed the substrate just a couple of weeks ago this is a hugely encouraging sign that the environment in there is just what they like.

I'm very happy :)

I'm not sure how well they'll do as the one I saw has disappeared so I doubt I'm going to be able to isolate them. I'm just hoping there's enough hiding places.

WE WANT BABY PHOTOS

Haha :D

I did try!  However it only looks like a sort of slightly different blur between the sand and bogwood.  Even knowing exactly where it is I can't really pick it out.

I will try to get some :)

I've had two baby panda cories survive in my main tank so it is possible Far_King

Good luck :D

Thank you!

Somehow there must have been eggs that didn't get eaten, so fingers crossed the fry can make it too.

Will keep you posted :)

my panda's used to be clever - they used to hide their eggs in the java fern and that's where both my fry appeared from. Then they decided to start laying them on the glass. The tetra's and curviceps love eating eggs and now the panda's lay in the night they don't stand much of a chance

I'm hopeful as you all know - I'm collecting any intact eggs I come across but not having much success with them. The only fry I've had survive in the tank recently has been that little palmeri tetra

I'd not even seen any eggs.  The problem with that tank is there's so many places for them to hide from me lol.
