Yeah I worked pretty hard on the stand and it does look like a professional stand and not a DIY so im happy.

Very nice fish, I do feel a bit sorry for them in that tank though. They have no where to hide or anything, doesn't make for a very interesting habitat, even if you are just going to sell them on.

IMO/E their colours will come out better when they are more comfortable and them having places to hide will make them come out more rather than just hiding behind each other all the time.

What size are they btw? Their mum is lovely. I like it when you get to meet the parents of fish you are buying. I met the parents of my discus and they are gorgeous (and massive!)

Good luck with your plan

Wow, very cool. I hadn't seen your other thread, so it was fun reading it all in one sitting. You did an awesome job, you should be proud, you have a nice talent there.

As they grow, be sure to post new pictures so we can see how much they're growing. How long do you think it will take them to grow to the size you want before you sell them?

Cheese Specialist: Having a planted tank would be more attractive but it wouldnt bring out there colors. You would think it would but with a planted tank there is more feces and uneaten food that decays and fouls the water. With the high quality foods like Bloodworms, Beef Heart, and Color bits it will allow them to grow really fast but if not taking care of then the food will decay and cause the water to foul. I designed my setup so that I can easily do water changes and spyhon out the feces and dead food so the water quality is perfect.

shrks1fan: Right now they are around 1-2" and I will sell them in about a month when they are 3".

I think your tank looks great and it makes sense to have no decoration or plants in your situation.

So dam the begrudgers :fun:

Lol thanks nidge. The main reason im doing it this way is because I need them to grow fast if I want to sell them. Once I get my other 2 tanks you will see a nice planted tank.

Awesome, they look very very happy in there! I can't believe that they're only 1-2 inches. they look bigger than that. I can't wait to see themw when they redder.

 HAHAHAHA   I have never seen that. They probably look bigger becuase it is 1-2" of body. I didnt include the fins.
