i have read the entire thread in question. as a mother of three, i have to say that there was not a single thing posted by the "children in question that i would have been terribly upset about one of my children posting except possibly the response to leanne's attack. it is a shame that her thread was hijacked, but the kids were not wholly responsible for that.

Children are people too, and there is not a single person on this earth who was not a child at one time. i think the mods were also handling the situation quite well. i like this forum, partly because kids are welcome here and normally treated with the same kindness and respect that i have always been. in this case i think there are several "adults" that are behaving badly.

Without venturing into the age arguement here, I do know there are several needlessly rude and abusive forum members who spring up from time to time and probably drive off more easily offended members.

I don't blame her for being mad about the thread hijacking. It's 3 pages long of bickering that could have been taken to PM or another thread altogether.

On the other hand, she's apart of that easily offendable group that gets driven off and should get a thicker skin or have gone to an admin to handle the situation instead of taking off.

No winners in this case.
