Beautiful tank! Definitely add a black background, especially with the Rainbows, you'll find they colour up better and show better colour when displaying with a dark background and it'll go really well with the stand. Some floating plants wouldn't hurt either to add to the security of the fish. I have duckweed in all my tanks and many rainbows and other fish will eat the roots quite happily. Just remember to fish a load out every water change otherwise you'll be overrun in no time! Definitely get some taller stem plants too, I think Hygrophila has already been mentioned and you can't go far wrong with that one. The plants could do with taking out and replanting separately, 2 or 3 stems per 'bunch' and they'll grow better in the long run and fil out faster.

It's a Fluval Profile 1200!

Lolly - Vallis is still growing. I only got it a few days ago, took all my LFS had, so i've got to get some more.

Proxo - I don't quite like it as much as the Pulp Fiction on I have on the other wall. It's an aggressive living room! haha

As long as you dont have tonys big stack of cocaine in your living room too, all is fine
I think i'll have to get myself some of these pictures, seen a few on ebay that are wicked

Oh, and you see the outlet from the filter? Move it way up to the surface so that is disturbs the surface a lot but not so high as to make the water noisy.

Any particular reason for that? I've got an airstone and a U4 at the other end right at the top of the surface. It's positioned like it is to give a little flow for the barbs.

For the surface movement for oxygen to get into the water, but as you have a U4 for that.. then don't worry about moving
