I have two 55 gallon tanks setup right now and I want to make sure I have them setup correctly.
Each tank is hooked up to it's own Magnum Pro 350 cannister, then from each cannister one line goes to the in-water sucker/filter and the output line splits, with one split going to the two Bio-Wheels connected side by side and the other line going to the output line in the water.
Is this correct?
I also have two big powerheads in each tank sitting on top of plastic tubes that go into undergravel filters. What exactly do the powerheads do and do they have to connect to the biowheel in any way? Or do they just push water around the tank and help aerate it?
