i had a 330 tank made custom for me and i had to leave it for around 2 to 3 weeks i think to let the silicone fully cure :) after that i washed it thoruly with a cloth and a hose pipe with a tank that size idont think you need any support depends on what glass it was made from either :) do you plan to put sand or gravel in? and what filter and heater are you using?

Dechlorinator doesn't leave ammonia behind nor have any ammonia in it. Ammonia is toxic to fish, so why would there be ammonia in the dechlorinator?
According to wiki,
Chloramines are derivatives of ammonia by substitution of one, two or three hydrogen atoms with chlorine atoms
If the dechlorinator removes the chlorine atoms, won't that just set free the ammonia?

Although according to Apa Nova, our tap water shouldn't be containing chloramine anyway (and to further support that, I've been able to use tap water that was left 24 hours to lose its chlorine for many years until I got the dechlorinator).

I plan on putting white fine sand.
Filter is a Boyu 1000I although I will eventually get a bigger one or add something to aid it.
No internal heater yet (I do have a Techmic heater but it has a minor problem that might just send my fish belly-up if the water goes through the cracks). I'll have to rely on one of the heaters in the house which keeps the room temp stable. I've never used internal heaters in fish tanks but as soon as I find a suitable one I'll add it.
(suitable for my Hoplo, because I don't want him to sit on it and burn himself).

Glass size of tank: 6mm. Thicker than my 23L one.

Be careful with Wiki. It can be edited by anybody. Even if the information is true sometimes...

yes it is probably true that it leaves ammonia behind but it will be so small and minute that it probably won't be detected by the test kit i do a 50% water change every week on my 330L tank and i test water before and after and i have no ammonia rise only thing that changes is sometimes the nitrate it must be impossible to get exactly 0ppm ammonia in a tank if so then bacteria have nothing to change and therefore die, there should always be a level on ammonia in the tank but its so small it can't be detected

Yeah I know, though there are some measures taken so that it rarely happens. Loled when one time it said that T-shirts were designed to fit seagulls.

Indeed, no ammo detected in the tank and I've dechlorinated 30L of water. I've done 2 tests by now, still nothing (even though there is a fish there that ate 2 bloodworms).

From my limited experience I'd wouldn't move the fish back & forth. I'd probably just put the filter on the new tank & move all the fish & be done with it. They've been without dechlorinator for so long right? Just make sure you have the time to keep an eye on them and look for any signs of stress. They should be much happier in a tank that's chlorine free and 4 times larger right?

Yeah but there are a few problems:
1) the filter needs an extension cord in that area and dad has to set it up.

2) there will be sand to put in there, which would involve moving all 3 fish back and forth.

3) the tank needs to be moved so that mom can put something under it before I can fill it + I don't have the lid or temp lid yet (hence the 30L in it at this time).
If I'd add the filter, it is pretty tall and the current amount of water will not cover it. If I do add enough to cover it, then add all the fish, Tzuppy will jump out of there like a rocket when there's no lid.

Tomorrow it should be set up properly with sand and a temp lid.

Okay, I get it. Just wait until tomorrow then. I'd leave the Sword in the new tank anyway, he should be alright for a night or two.

Unfortunately he doesn't seem alright. While ammonia still is undetectable, he seems to be acting sluggish.
His fins are still spread, but he sits at the bottom and he reacts very slow to my hand on the tank or in it. He also ate 1 bloodworm but wasn't too enthusiastic about it. He mostly sits near the glass.
Could this be a sign of poisoning with something?

I put the heater in there, will start it soon, but i might just make yet another mistake with that.
Well, heater's working well, no zapping. But it does slip off from time to time, which is kind of concerning.

And the fish still sits on one end of the aquarium and looks scared. Could it be because he didn't sleep enough or is the silicone actually starting to get toxic?

EDIT: The heater seems to have perked him up.
I guess it's because my filter was heating the other tank and this one isn't getting enough heat sources or tank is too big to remain warm. He looks better now, I set the heater at 22C. But he's still not as active.

Well, the heater made him go towards the center of the aquarium, but now he's ignoring the 2 bloodworms that are on the floor.

Never mind, he found the bloodworms and ate 1 of them already.
I guess he was just cold. I put the heater on 22C and he's now roaming the tank as he did yesterday. I guess this tank is too big to get heated like the smaller one.

And now he's again in one corner. What could be going on with him? And at what temp should I put the heater on? It seems to have stopped too early.
