How Succesful Of A Tank Would You Have Without The Internet?

i know for myself personally i would probably be out of the hobby due screwing up so much if not for this forum and other sites guiding me along the way.

I would have not as successful but I could still make it work, but using the internet I have learned a lot and met lots of cool people too

i would of lost all my fish when i starter my first tank. i didn't know what ich was, and i lost atleast 14 fish before i figured out there was a problem.

i was terrible back then.

I probably would have never kept live plants, but I had already read some really good general fish keeping books before I was ever on the internet.....which was about 7 years ago.

I'd have done ok.....but I'm very thankful for internet forums nontheless, if you have a question its answered almost instantly, all you have to do is boot up your computer. And its not an answer that might make someone money.

Can't beat that.

i think mine would be pretty successful, since i kept fish before i had the interenet. my dad didnt have the internet when he was little, but he can managed to keep everything alive

i would have mass deaths lol i had 2 mollies, 3 female bettas, an algae eater in the same 5.5gallon tank. then my fish was pregnant and thank god i found this. now i have a 10 gallon and a 5.5 gallon :]] and i would get a 90 gallon for my birthday !

My tank would have been ok as i read a lot of books and magazines but without the internet there is no way i would have as many tanks or anywhere near the selection of fish i keep. Without the online stocklists i regularly check i wouldnt even be aware the fish were available and before we joined the forum my gf thought we were mad to have two tanks and was dead against having any more, it was only when i was able to show her that there are other people with racks of tanks in their houses that my collection really expanded.

Well I'd kept my tank for a fair few years without the internet! It wasnt until I got rid of my large tank and got a small tank for my fish that I actually started to care for my fish properly! Now I've successfully spawned bettas and even my cory's spawned for me which I really wanted! Previously I only ever had fish spawn but never got any fry unless they were from livebearers like guppys and platys!
