I've got a slight over feeding problem with my female Bettas. They love my Cories sinking pellets for some reason so I've had to put the whole tank on a diet. I am going to be mixing their diet up too, feeding them some frozen mosquito larvae and hoping the girls will aquire a taste for it and leave the other food alone. So far it seems to have partially worked when I tried a packet of bloodworms.
Normally I feed them in the evening when I get home but now I've had some recent changes to my setup, I'm going to alter the feeding pattern.
My 3 Spot Gouramis are going to be fed once every day with a mix of flake food and frozen mosquito larvae alternating days and if I can get them to, sinking pellets as well. My Cories and the Bettas in there I'm going to try feeding once every other day and a mix of sinking pellets and mosquito larvae with Betta pellets for the Bettas if they'll take those. My male Betta will be fed every other day with mosquito larvae and Betta pellets if he'll still take them.
I usually don't feed them on Sundays and occasionally skip Mondays as well.
