i had a jumper, but that was only to get the food out of my hand
and none of my fish have died from jumping out of the tank

I have had 2 siamese fighters jump out and various shrimps, but i suspect they crawled out, and didnt jump!

My wonderful daughter decided to investigate my only female bettas tank (at the time my only female). She lifted the lid and out she jumped, and kept jumping. Her tank was on my hubby's desk and we finally found her against the wall behind the computer tower. She's alive and well today! The one called She-Devil, shes a delta emerald.

I had a female swordie jump during the night..she didnt survive. I also had a male swordie jump but thankfully I was right there.

I've had 2 jumpers, a female betta and a swordtail. Both didn't survive!

ive only had one, it was a gobie and cost me 18, had it bout 2 hrs.

i once had four white cloud minnows, which i had in a very small tank with a fantail. There was only the tinniest of gaps in tyhe hood at one side, less than a cm in width. amazingly, over time they all managed to jump out, all at times when i wasnt around! i would come home and find a dry shrivelled up fish on the carpet behind the desk.
