Guppies:
Piper
Gourmi:
Tazzis aka Taz

Personally i've kept fish on and off since i was very young, probably had my own first goldfish when i was about 10. That said, i've only really seriously kept fish for the last 18 months, when I decided to keep tropicals and I learnt about proper filtration and cycling. Now my focus has shifted from just trying to keep a nice looking tank of fish, to breeding, which is really interesting.

I started keeping fish when I was about 16, so it's been around 11 years now.

I started with a 10 gal, then upgraded to a 29 in 2 years, and killed off many, many fish due to bad LFS advice and lack of research.

I now have running a 75gal mbuna community, 29gal (yep the original tank) tropical community, and a divided 10gal w/two male bettas. I also have a couple of empty 10gal for QT or hospital.

I'm waiting to buy a house before I get into the really big tanks.

My parents always had fish when I was little and that started the addiction for me. I've had tanks of my own off and on, mostly on, for over 35 years now.

no, i stopped. Then I started again when I was 10. I know i'm young.........     I'm 12

ive been keeping fish for about 7 years now, but only in the last 3 months i turned tropical and now look at me.... 30l and 180l.
the 7 years of keeping started with me being unknowlaged, i was 7 when i started, a simple fish bowl i had for 1 year then upgraded to a 15l juwel tank that i keept for about 6 years, i was realy bad to start untill i just kept minnows.
when most of them died (i have 1 left after having it for 6 years!) i went to a tropical 30l biorb and just this week i got my 180l Aqua One regency 80. yipy i love fishkeeping
if that makes me sad... well so be it

Hi people

ive been keeping fish for around 10 years, started with a tropical tank just the basics neons, platies that sort of fish, then progressed to breeding softwater species including appisto's to Discus. Unfortunately i don't do the breedng side as much anymore, haven't got time but i still keep a few tanks all planted except for 1 Rift valley tank.

When I was little, we had some goldfish and at one point a ten gallon. I only remember that we had zebra danios in there and that we ended up with tons of baby fish (i don't know if they were danios or maybe we had some livebearers).

I've had bettas for 2 and a half years now but I've just recently set up a 28 gallon freshwater tank in the last couple of months.

I've had fish since I was 7ish...so, about 14 years. I started off with a goldfish in a 3 gallon tank---lol. He lived for 8 years in there...incredibly. Then I got some 10 gallons, then a 29 gallon, had an oscar for 5 years, random other fish, and now I have:

At home--
10 gallon with a jewel cichlid
29 gallon with a betta, 3 yoyo loaches, pleco, 4 white clouds

At college (in my dorm room)--
10 gallon with Blue Ram eggs...probably won't hatch though...
15 gallon with a Red Zebra/Yellow Lab cichlid
58 gallon with 8 Flame Tetras, 3 Cherry Barbs, 2 ottos, 3 Female bettas, 7 cories, 4 Blue Rams, 3 male guppies, 2 baby guppies, 3 Pearl Gouramis, and a pleco.

In my boyfriend's dorm room--
20 gallon long with a dwarf gourami, female betta, 2 swordtails, 2 guppies, 2 xray (pristella) tetras

I've bred guppies, swordtails, kribensis, and now, Blue Rams, even though I might not get the eggs to hatch. We'll see. :) My water isn't ideal though.

I was 4 and my dad gave me his old 30g tank and bought me 4 goldfish. So after a while, i wanted to get somthing different. And aha i get livebearer's and plecs( i sure the tank was extremely overstocked). So when i was 12( or 11), my uncles heater broke on his 20g flat hex and he gave me the tank. So i had a new one, first started of with red zebra's, then switched to guppies, and then raised 56 mollie fry in there until selling size( around a inch), then i got cons, then switched to community, then switched to jewel's, then switched back to cons, so right now i have a 8 inch male con and a 2 inch female, and they are breeding like crazy. After my 30 was with live bearer's, i switched to kribs( i had some in the 20 for forever, but forgot to mention them), so imeadiatly i was hooked on kribs. After i thought i had enough kribs, i got a pike livebearer, whuich died( internal parasites), then i rescues 2 yellow labs from school, raised them to health and then sold them. After that i switched to angels, which i still have. So i have been in the hobby roughly 10 years.
