I've been a mod on other forums, and with the amount of work they do to keep things going well, they may make you count your steps as they walk you off the plank....

This is just adding to your post totals, and it makes you look like you know a lot more than you do. These threads are rubbish and need to be stopped. You wonder why some of the more mature members stop keeping on here, this is part of the reason.

I dont even care about my post numbers... I mean every now and then I check them and go: "wow, Im on here wayyyy to much lol" but other than that, I really dont care for that at all... It doesnt make you look smart on here... Someone could have 10k messages on here in random discussions or false info...

Actually, for new members it does make a difference and seeing someone like you they would think that person knows something about fish keeping he is a " Fish aficionado" WOW. Not knowing how limited your knowledge is and that you are only a kid playing on a forum site.

I see those as little joke things on here tbh... But if someone has been here long enough to have a certain tag that comes way later on, they most likely ave learned a ton from just being on the site alone not even counting experience from keeping fish they may have... I only share information that I am sure about and sure, every now and then I mix a thing or two up but so has anyone, even if you are a "fish god" lol...

I kept a betta... Learned a bunch from that... And I'm keeping gudgeons and I'm def switching those rocks out before they cause anymore issues... I think I know exactly where that gudgeon is now ... I cycled two tanks and I guess you could technically say I cycled 3 cause I restarted my ten gallon QT cycle when I left it when it finished... But its fine, I haven't kept any fish so none of what I just said applies
