No, there's nothing wrong with lifting a bucket unless you have strict doctor's orders telling you not to do that.............broken vertabrae in your lower back will kinda get you to find out the easy way of doing things.........wish I could go back to buckets for the exercise.... :/

Aside from Olive (at least she has an excuse) you Python People are wimps  ya must have arms like noodles!!  J/K!

I use a syphon and a 50 foot hose that reaches the yard, this way I can do any tank in the house :kana: ...of course I refill with 5 gallon buckets

Turkey basters (occasionally) for the betta tanks, usually an azoo filter/plastic cup to scoop combo :kana:

I have a 2 way valve on the outlet of my Rena Filstar XP3 filter. All I have to do is turn the valve to "empty" and the tank empties. I have the outlet permanently connected to a pipe that goes through the wall to outside. All designed so any member of the family can do a water change if Im not here :p

Did you just put a bucket on my head and hit it with a stick????     HMPH!!!!

I forgot to explain how I fill the tank -_-
I use a 50 gallon water butt which sits on 4 castor wheels so I can move it when its got water in it. I use an Eheim pump to pump the water out of the butt into the tank. The whole empty/fill process takes about 45 mins, 30 of which is waiting for the pump do its thing. No lifting or humping involved :)

:grr: :X :grr: :X :grr: :X :grr: :S

...not very nice, probably the reason you are so angry and feel the need to hit me on the head is because you, yourself do not own a python of your own, jealousy is not a good attribute.....ha ha ha ha.....just kidding!!! Keep on hitting, it's starting to feel good!!! :D :D :D :D :D

I use a regular old siphon and a 5 gallon bucket. It's satisfying work.

And NO, I DON'T SUCK ON IT!! Arggg! :X

I use my gravel cleaner and buckets as well. But since I moved last summer, my tank is in my living room and my bathroom is in the very back of the house................really fun I tell'ya  :byebye:
