Hey all. I haven't visited this site in so long I'm feeling guilty. I have however, been lucky to have quite healthy fish for some time now and a 3 year old that can't stand when I'm on the computer, so , thats my excuse.

Anyway, I have 4 beautiful Angelfish in my 55 gal and one of the Koi Angelfish has two strange holes in one side of its body. The water quality is great. Everyone else looks great. A few days ago I noticed the sore, hole, on the middle of one side of his body and today I noticed that there are actually two, the second just behind the fin on that side.

Could this be hole in the head? There are no sores on his head although I know this tends to affect cichlids.

Please help. I would hate to loose him. Also is whatever this is contagious and how do I treat?

Thanks for any input in advance. :)

P.S. I have another nagging problem with my swordtails in another tank I'll post elsewhere.

i belive u live by scotch plains but if u do then on RT 22 theirs a pet store next to BOCRAFT PLAYLAND called THE PET SHANTY and the owner knows tons of stuff about all fish

Thanks. I know exactly where that place is.

Do you like it? I went there once and was horrified to see an entire tank of corydoras catfish with no eyes. Apparantly whatever they shoved in the tank with them sucked all their eyes out. I haven't been back since.

I had head good things about them though and like their selection so maybe it was a really bad day down there.

I do have a pleco that helps a lot but I also have a sand bottom which he does not take care of at all as far I can tell. Thanks though
