Hi Joep. He is totally like a healthy betta. He can see pretty well. He keeps flaring at his sibling. He also flare behind another male. He swim like normal and act like normal betta. He know when you look at him. After looking carefully, I think the top layer of the skin on his eyes is like tinted glass. So the top layer produce iridiscense metallic effect. Wasan gave me a female for christmas too so I can breed them together. He pick for me and she also stunning except the eyes. We will see how things go. LOL

As he's such a strikingly unusual looking Betta I was thinking he deserves a really prehistoric kinda name....I mean he reminds me of a miniature Coelecanth, sorta...with the colour and the eyes and all. (yes, I know Coelecanths are blue). ANYWAYS let us know what you name him.

My brain is in park right now so I have no suggestions namewise. Maybe when I shift my mental motor into first gear I'll get smarter.
