Here I go again 150 gallon reset.

I found two new pieces of driftwood on the beach tonight. That lightens up the left-hand end of the tank

Love the natural light on this tank.

Tested the water all looks good. Second photo is Tap water on left, Tank water on right. I think I'm getting a little buffering from the salt content in the gravel and wood. Nothing that a few plants and a water change won't fix. Plants arrive on Monday or Tuesday I hope.

Plants arrived. So, what I have done is taken the plants out of their bunches and planted individual stems all over the tank. This will give me an idea of light and where certain plants will grow best. As a species does well in a location I will move the other plants of that species to that part of the tank.

Wow. Looks amazing.

How long after it gets dark does the light stay on? Do you expect the plants under the light to grow faster than the rest?

The amazon sword is under the light as I think it will struggle without a little extra. Just a couple of hours after dark, the led is not on during the day

Thought I should get a photo of the Cardamine Lyrata. As it is bolting across the tank.

The roots you can see are new in the last 48 hours.

For fun I thought I might follow this amazon sword plant leaf over the next few days. It has more than doubled its size in the last 48 hours. We maybe able to track the Hygrophila in the background as well.
