Here I go again 150 gallon reset.

Planted two plants. I'm impressed with the amount of light the tank is getting mid afternoon. These photos are taken with just natural light

I have done a flow rate test on the under-gravel filter. It is moving around thirty liters per hour, meaning that the whole tank will be moved every day. Very happy with that.

Also are you going to properly aquascape it or just plant a few plants here and there?

This is what the tank looks like at the moment. Post #59 has a list of plants I have bought which are coming. I am slowly filling the tank to make sure it settles on the stand properly, and so the wood doesn't float around to much.

I love the fact you are using materials around you. Looking forward to seeing the tank with all the plants in place. With that much light you could get some nice growth!

Ok, so I couldn't wait, I'm a bad boy and told myself I wouldn't do this. But the tank is now full and the last remaining carnivorous plants and orchard are in place. Now I just need those plants to arrive and then FISH. Rubbish picture but you will just have to wait to see the real thing.

Coming along nicely.
February's Tank of the Month will feature tanks sized at 31 gallons and larger. Your tank should be well established by then. Hope you enter it in the contest.

I will enter it, but it will still be very much a work in progress. About two years to get it to where I want it.

That's not an aquarium....its a flippin' swimming pool in your lounge :D

Seriously envious though....looks like its going to be spectacular once established and stocked :)

Yes, enter it...and every 3 months you can re-enter it and you can show off the improvements till eventually maybe you will WIN.
