help with pleco

i spotted red bumps (almost like a growth)on both his fins. it doesn;t seem to be affecting him. the only different thing is, he doesn't go after my betta (when the betta gets near him). if anyone can help, i appreciate it.

how big of a tank do you have? plecos can get around 14-18 inches long
