help please

a tail of one of my fantail goldfish is not normal. it seems smaller than the other one, and the rnd of it is curling up, which the other side is not doing. this is the first time anything has happened to any of my goldfish, and i was jsut wondering what it was and if it was serious. help appreciated.

Do you have any pictures of the fish in question? Is it still swimming normally and keeping equilibrium?

no pics, but she is swimming normally, just the tail is off a bit, like its curling upwards at the end, and a bit smaller compared to the other half of the tail. she is eating normally and dosent seem to have trouble manuvering
