Help, Nitrate spike!

WC's, when done properly, never hurt...your trAtes look good, but I'd do another to get those trItes down...
Off topic, but every time I read your username, I think of my mom and my wife...they are both "Mrs. Moore", as well, lol

Awesome, I've already gone ahead & completed another water change! Thanks for the help. :) & Haha, nice! Moore is a very popular last name I feel like.

Update: After 3 water changes 2, 75% & 1, 30% both levels have come down tremendously! I just need to know if it's still to high & should I do one more water change this morning? Nitrite is reading at 3ppm & Nitrates are reading at 20ppm
Thanks again for the help everyone!
Your nitrate levels are good!

Make sure you keep nitrate below 40 ppm, nitrate levels above 40 ppm is toxic to fish

Nitrite should be at 0 ppm at all times, any level above 0 is toxic to fish and can kill

Ammonia should be at 0ppm at all times, any level above 0 is toxic to fish and can kill

Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate are toxic to all fish, birds, reptiles and animals and you need the levels to be as low as possible.

You want ammonia and nitrite on 0ppm at all times. If either of these go above 0ppm, do a 75% water change and gravel clean the tank every day until the level is back to 0ppm.

Nitrates should be as low as possible and kept as close to 0ppm as you can. However, because nitrates go up over time, we suggest keeping them under 20ppm at all times.
