Lo everyone,

I was going to purchase a corner tank from juwel (as it will fit nice in my house) but have a couple of questions.

1) will this shape effect fish terratories?

2) will it effect O2 / CO2 levels inthe Tank?

I would like 2 - 4 Angels and ideally some fish which school. I really like Zebra Danios but unsure to numbers needed and wether they are suitable companions to the Angels.

Also cant decide between the 190L and 350L tank!

Cheers!

Hi Lazarus, welcome to TFF :)

I'm no expert on the questions you are asking, but I can't see any problems with the corner tank. I actually really like the Juwel corner tanks myself and hope to get one as soon as I live in a bigger place.

One problem I have read about with corner tanks is the difficulty in getting to the rear corner for cleaning, gravel vacuming, etc.

If you don't already know about cycling a new tank then you should read the pinned topics at the top of this (beginners) section. They are definitely the place to start.

I don't know much about Angels. Zebra Danios are great fish (extremely active, fast swimmers) and are best kept in groups of 6.

hope that helps as a starter.

I would go with the bigger one, provided, as stated above, that you can clean up and all that.

Bigger tanks mean less work for you, more fish for you to keep, and less stress from fluctuations in water quality on the fish.

Angels are a good cichlid, though I'd like to know if you are brand new to the hobby.

Danios would be ok, too, though you might have a problem if they are kept with angels (they nip fins). However, if the danios are kept in a large enough group, you should not have a problem. :D
