Hi I have a 29g lightly planted tall tank
Sand substrate
Equipment
1 tetra 30 power filter
1 air powered 20 gallon filter
1 300w heater
Fully cycled tank test chemical levels 2x a week
And do a 20% water change every week
Along with using my battery powered substrate cleaner about every day.
Currently I have
2 dalmation mollies
4 green Cory's
2 what I believe are some kind of tetras(flat about quarter size(pale ish Pink)
1 Pleco
1 sun cat 2"
1 Raphael striped 2.5"
1 African dwarf frog
Before I get harassed I have a 110 gallon I will be moving the two catfish and Pleco that should not be in this tank into once I get the money to get the equipment and plant it.
What other fish could I add to this 29 gallon tank? Something colorful and active preferably something active and mid to top swimming .

Boseman's Rainbowfish are a possibility, but you really need to identify the tetras as they can vary in size substantially.

You want to up the cories and tetras to 6, and then see what room you have left.

What is the width of the tank?

Ideally Boesman's need a 4 ft tank as they grow up to 4-5 inches and like a swim about! Do you mean dwarf rainbows TLM? They can be just as pretty and are a fraction of the size so a nice shoal of 6 would look good.

Brain fade. Yes I did mean Dwarf Neon Rainbows. Thank you, LJ.

I'm definitely in favour of Dwarf Rainbowfish here. They're peaceful and have great colour to them. I've gone down the full sized route too and they're a lovely looking fish.

These are the unknown fish I have

They are albino von rios. I have them and they love being in schools of six. I had 3 and they stayed hidden al the time until I put 3 more in and now they are out in the open all the time

See if you can't get a few more of that species, add a few more Cory cats, and maybe a dwarf gourami? I also like the dwarf rainbows. You could possibly do an angelfish, but I don't know if it would eat your tetras.

Can you mix Cory species and still have them all in the same shoal?

Ok cool I would really like to get about 2-3 panda Cory but only if they'll shoal with my emeralds,

It's much better to get all the same species. Its really just trial and error. If the emeralds want to school with the pandas then sure go for it!
No one has picked up on the Pleco yet? Oh well I will then :)
What species is he?

Never mind. Se your gonna upgrade. I'm an idiot. :)
