I am new and like axolotls but don't own one due to regional restrictions so that is bad. but I do own an axolotl plushie! that's not anatomicly correct...

Yeesh. The ones at my LFS usually sell for around $80, but they are juvenile. Would love to someday get a huge tank (220g+) specifically for a Lion Fish.

Oooooooo. Apparently the one was a show size, which explains the price. I would love to have a massive tank, or a saltwater tank, but I have to wait until I move out ? but I am of course very thankful for the tanks my parents let me have

anyway, brine shrimp, are the tanks they come with suitable? I don't really trust "pet companys" they treat basically every animal wrong so idk if the tank they come with is big enough.

Depends on we’re you buy it from.

Some people breed in 2L soda bottles or water bottles. I would aim for a smaller 2.5g - 5g.

Happy day...I think this is a baaaad topic...if my wife finds out that she could go get a husband plushie, I might be doomed. I told her she couldn't have a boyfriend pillow on account of that being a violation to the sanctity of the marriage vows she made>

Lion fish....awful creatures. They have a standing kill order on them for what they are doing to our remaining reefs down here. They are tasty, though, and restaurants serve them up for $27.99. All hand caught, too. We also now have Arapaima washing up down here.

They are not awful creatures.

It’s just like Pleco: Is it their fault that were released in the wild and now have taken over the local ecosystem? No.

It’s like saying anacondas are bad, because they have taken over Florida. The humans are bad that out them there.
