HI all

Lee finally contacted me on Friday. He reiterated the story given to Matt and has said he will post the pump Monday. He could sort out Matt but not me because Paypal had Matt's records whereas because I was a bank transfer he had lost my record with the stolen laptop I assume. So if all is true and he does send the pump then the information of his new contact details was very valuable so thank you again Matt.

excellent news Alan glad you got it sorted in the end mate . and glad i could help you. if your pump does turn up and all is well then maybe lee was telling the truth.... he did seem very apologetic on the phone and even invited me to his new fish house opening at his house to grab some bargains! still not 100% convinced but i guess it could make sense.... i just wish he would have phoned me to tell me what was going on then i wouldnt have minded.
he also explained to me why other people who say he owes money too didnt get all the funds owed which was due to poor quality or dead on arrival fish. im not involved in any of that though and im sure if people were that bothered then they would chase it up as i did.

I too told lee that most folk are tollerent and fair minded when told what is happening. It is only when you are left in the dark for 2 weeks and have to chase the other person that suspicions arise. I will let you know if pump is sent.

However. since sending the email telling lee my address and asking to let me know if there are any problems he has not sent any aknowledgement he has received my address so I guess he has not taken the hint that communication is paramount for good confident business. I will update later in the week!!

he knows he ows me the money, all the fish i sent was alive and in very good health when i sent them
and he even email me when he got them saying so ,they was breed from the fish i orignaly bought from him

he told me he got his bank account cleared as the reason he couldent pay me ,sounds very fimilar to what he told you dont you think very unlucky person if you ask me
then no contact for weeks then he payed me so much and then no contact again for ages by this time i couldent dispute it with paypal as it had gone over the recomended days

then no contact for ages after sending email after email
for him to tell me he was waiting for a payment from something he was selling on ebay
so he could pay me the rest he owed me,
but never heared from him again after emailing him a number of times
i was bothered and sent probly 10 times more emails to him then you did
but what can you do if they dont reply

like i said i dont know the ins and outs of your probs with lee and i am in no way sticking up for him. just relaying what he told me thats all..... i would have thought anyone could be bothered to chase money owed but again didnt know your situation with him, paypal etc etc
he does seem like a very unlucky person or a great liar one or the other!
we all have made our minds up im sure about using his services again one way or another. im sorry you couldnt sort it out mate. i didnt mean to make it sound like you werent bothered

but my situation was differnt as really i didnt loose any money at all out my own pocket
as it was profit

and hes lost out in the end as i would ov bought alot more corydoras from him

still money is money at the end of the day, but as you said its too late now to do anything i think its put alot of people off getting stock from him to be honest, the website still isnt up and running so his business cant be doing much......
i too would have ordered more corys from him especially the green stripes as they really are great looking fish and really hard to find but this has really put me off. if i did it would be paypal and if nothing turned up then i would be straight on to the claim department no 2nd chances.
but ive found a breeder in the west midlands that might supply me with some more greens so fingers crossed on that source

Hi all

No contact from Lee since he said he would post pump. No confirmation of posting.

To those who may have given up...There is something that can be done. Do what I am doing and persue a small claims. Pa7ypal and emails are all the evidence you need, Lee will end up paying 10 times what he owes in legal fees and costs and this is a valuable lesson folk like him need to learn quickly. His business sense and morals seem to be non existent and he needs to be brought into the real world with a bang. He seems to be blissfully unaware of the anxiety, time wasting and trouble he is causing??

I will let him know he is on a deadline (again) and see if he responds. watch this space!!

Lee finally got in touch again after setting another deadline of close of play today (remember he was posting pump Monday). HE HAS ACTUALLY CONFIRMED PUMP IS POSTED and given me a Royal Mail number.

I have checked....good news is post office has parcel. Bad (ish) news is he only posted it today.

I guess two extra days on top of another 30 is not too bad but in principle when you are expecting something promised then even 2 days would be unacceptable to a cociencious business man.

I just hope it is as described and in one piece.

thats great news Alan i hope you have no probs with it as its been so hard to get in the first place, imagine what it would be like trying to return it..........! this was one of my worries with the fish if i had any dead on arrival etc. all are fine and doing well so far though so thats ok

Hi all

Pump has arrived and is installed and working. I can honestly say this was the worst transactions i have ever undertaken and it has cost me much more in terms of time, worry and expense than buying from a reputable shop and paying a premium. Lesson learned I think.

hope all goes well with other disputes. i will check back from time to time so please keep updating with progress.

not had official invite yet but its quite a long way to go for me but if i do ill let ya know the fish i have are really nice and were worth the wait i just wish i knew what was going on with the delivery and i wouldnt have minded. i have spoken to him on email since and he assures me things would be much better if there was a next time......
