Half-Moon Explosion!

Going to a LFS up the road a bit, one that's not my usual, I spent some time browsing the bettas (see? I'm a convert...), and what to my wondering eyes did appear - about 50 (yes, you heard me right, 50!!) beautiful half moon boys. Blue, turquoise, yellow, pastel, red, purple - simply amazing! And at $14.99, they seemed reasonably priced!

I didn't get one today, but I'm going up next week to pick a winner. They were fabulous!

Sheesh, I've never seen anything other than veiltails at all my local shops. I'd have a heart attack to see so many halfmoons live in front of me. My wallet would probably have a heart attack, too...

Actually, this place is worth checking regularly - I'm pretty convinced that when I was there a month or a month and a half ago they had what I think were halfmonns then, too - but I hadn't joined the betta addiction at that point and didn't pay much attention.
