one of my guppies had fry i dont know when, just found them when i was syphoning out the waste, the one that gave birth was the small one that i was expecting to not give birth for 2-3 more weeks, so i dont have a cycled tank or anything ready, no baby brime shrimp, liquid fry food... no nothing!
i have them sitting in a peanut butter jar right now and feeding them flaked food i crushed into a powder. i only have 1 cycled tank and 3 other tanks in a fishless cycle.
1 of the cycling tanks ammonia level is very low and it should get it's nitrite spike in a few days, should i put them in there?? or do daily water changes in my peanut butter jar or what??

some helpful suggestions would really be appreciated

u have 1 cycled tank? put em in there in a breeding net. they will b fine in the jar for a few days as long as the temp doesn't drop 2 far but u will need to find them a new home cuz they need filtration.

I agree with canis_lupus, the breeder net for the fry for right now. As for the fishless cycling, if you have ammo readings now, you should be seeing a nitite spike soon (mine had nitrite on the second day). Can you move a bit of the gravel from your cycled tank over to the oldest non-cycled tank? This may help speed the fishless cycle along.

Yah, fill the 1-gallon and put some new water and old water from the cycled tank in it just so that it has some cycled water. Also, for all you people out there, is it ok to just feed fry flake food?? I had fry guppy from a friend and I just used flake food that I crumbled so that it was really small. The guppies are now full-grown, 3 years old and healthy in my friend's tank. ;)
