My friend and I were finished work early today and figured we'd hit up a couple of nurseries today. Turned out that there was a 30% off sale at the one local to my house!
I scored 10 western hemlock that were potted together, a pacific arbutus, and a decent jade cutting for $65!! The hemlock I'm likely going to turn into a yose-ue style bonsai, the arbutus will join my other potted trees in my mini patio forest, and the jade will likely end up in the bonsai side of my collection.
My friend was able to score an albospica cultivar sequoia the size of a small car that had been at the nursery since 2006 for only $160! Really good find.
