i got the rena 120 panoramic i must say i thought it was gonna be wider than it is so its not ideal also i only received one section of the juwel stone granite background so i cant fill the damn thing up and i have already spent about £800 on everything with filters and water treatments and food
i forgot how expensive this hobby is .
its been 12 years since i sold my last aquarium

For £800 i will come and swin in your tank...part time of course :)

£800!! OMG, nice lloking rig but me? I would have gone for a big Aquaone seamless bow as saved a bundle with no loss of looks :D

But, hey......you didn't ask for my opinion

Why did you spend £800 on an aquarium that you didn't the size of? You must have money to burn, in which case go buy a bigger one.

well the measurements were supposed to be the sides 51 cm but actually that measurement was from the very front of the bow front you see so in actual fact the sides were only 31 cm so its alot smaller than i was expecting .
by the way the aquarium with stand lights cabinet heater and ext filter was £580 reduced from £670 the other £200 went on another heater, powerhead ,fluval internal 4 and lots of food and treatments
today i spent £18 on a 25 kg bag of coral sand .

Ill give u £1000 if u come swim around in my 20G

Deal!!

I dont care how wide it is, i'll splash my finger around in it! thats swimming honestly!!

Also why spend so much on sand? argos play sand is amazing looking (from the pics i've seen) and uuuuuber cheap, also doesnt alter the ph of the water.

Although i agree with you on the fish keeping being a money pit! saying that though i think i had a good deal on mine:

380L bow front tank (aquaone, 5ft long 2ft high no idea on width but i would say 1ft min against the edges)
2 x aquaone cf1000 filters(with full media)
2 x 200W heaters
4 x 40W bulbs (also aquaone)

Plus a stand in a beach effect for £550 all because it had tiny scratches on the trim of the tank from a shop. It pays to look around some times ;)
