Goodeids

How did you get so many fry, mine have 3 or 4 each time

They came from 5 females all within a week I trapped them up in large mesh traps because they tend to eat their own if given a chance & put lots of cabomba plants in with them to give lots of cover for the young as soon as they had them I took them out . I take them out of the tank and put them in that plastic container to check for fin rot , fungus & any other illnesses then return them to their own tank a couple times a week , another 3 weeks & I'll put them in with their parents & get ready for the females to have their next lot sometime in the following 7days .

Yeh but I'm getting two or three from one endler but I guess it is my endlers first " breed"

You should be getting more fry than that give them plenty of places to hide also keep them well fed

They are fed twice a day and since the fish dropped it's first fry it hasn't dropped anymore, it's the first time it has had fry so this may be why or maybe they have had fry when I haven't been around which have been eate but I would have noticed a body size change as I gaze at the tank endlessly.... Any ideas/ help

I've never kept Endlers ( with my livebearers I tend to stick to Goodeids ) but I know they don't have massive amounts of fry , when I get a new Goodeid I worry about the amount of fry I get at 1st but its nothing to be worrying about really you'll soon be overstocked with them .

I would like to get some goodeids but I didn't know they existed until reading this topic, they look awesome but I don't know how I get them in uk
