I'm asking how much it would be to order a betta like the one in her picture from PetSmart.

You can't order bettas from PetSmart. You take whatever they have on the shelf.

Oh crap are you seriously? That's the only place I can get fish besides wal-mart. We've got an LFS, it's got good qaulity fish, but last time I went there, you have to go through the birds and mice, rts, and others, but I got lice and fleas from the animals, so I swore to never go back there again.

The reason my mom won't let me order from you Synirr; now dont get mad I trust you, is because she thinks that it's a scam. She said that you have to have a license for that, but still I trust you Synirr, it's just that I can't think of a way to prove to her that it's not a scam.

Ask your mom to pay the postage here for the package. Maybe the post office can give Synirr the credit. Don't know if that's doable but makes sense. She could also check Synirr's Pay Pal credit. Synirr probably has an account on aquabid. Aquabid rates buyers and sellers w/ comments from people who have done business together. A 3rd party to hold would be easy but who? would they both know and trust other than the Post Office. Check that out Tomorrow or Monday, if the Post office can collect postage there for a package shipped in Texas.

No one can blame your mom for being concerned. There is a lot of junk going on on the net. You lucked out and got honest people.

Hey Synirr or anyone who has got bettas from her before, How big are the boxes that the bettas come in? How much does it weigh? How are they packaged? Does anybody have any pictures of the boxes that the bettas come in with the bettas in the box?
