I bought myself a lil Goldie on Sunday and after a few days of hiding he's out and about all the time now Mine was £20 just for the one though

Anyway to get back on track, what's your PH at?

that would make sense if it was a less hardy type, as the other is doing great. The other is considerably larger though, the one that died was a lot smaller so it may have just been more vulnerable because of its size.
The pH is fairly alkaline from the tap around our way, about 7.8 ish; at first i was using a buffer to lower it a bit but must admit havent been using it lately
