What a bargain and lucky cories ,wish i had room for bigger tanks for the fry! gawd knows what i'm going do if they all make it!(which of course i want them too)!
I went to blagdon water gardens today because bruv wanted a turtle,which i'm babysitting until i take it over(haven't got a clue how to look after it) anyway they had glass double & triple used breeder tanks for a £10 each! if only i had the room!

The fry are doing well,touch wood! there's 30 in there at the mo,with 1 egg saved yesterday,think the rest got munched!plus what i think is 2 pygmy eggs.although they are so tiny i can't tell if they're fertile

my first batch i got 29 fry from about 50 ish eggs, 2 were left in the parents tank but not seem them for days now and the rest i have kept seperate. i accidently squashed one and only 2 have died on me and theyre 3 weeks old now so i should have 24 left in the fry tank, but everytime i try do a head count i get different numbers each time.....!

Hi Nick, im not sure what make it is as i was given it free from someone on here when i bought some firstbites and liquifry.... i dont think its anything expensive and im sure they are on ebay for a few quid just search sponge filter im sure i saw them on there

ive had 24 more eggs hatch today and have put them in with the older fry i had alot of white eggs this time but there are a few still that might hatch tonight, fingers crossed
