Going To Start A Nano Tank...

I think there are 3 standard sizes, the 20 gallon high, 20 gallon reg, and the 20 gallon long. Look at all glass aquarium brand I know they are standardised and very affordable, as well as making high quality tanks with some optional accesories like glass tops that may help with some of the evaporation issues you'll be facing.

20 Gallon long tanks give you the volume with less height and greater length. Size DOES matter: length gives you easier aquascaping and maintenance and in addition, shallower water depth allows for better light penetration.

As for an office tank, it can work. However, I've found that my tank can always use a little 'tweeking'. On the other hand, once the tank matures, it CAN go on autopilot. But...salt water tanks can surprise you. The problem is..if something goes wrong in a 75G office tank, probably no problem. If it happens in a 10 or 20G....NUKE CITY. SH

But I suppose thr problem is then is that I am here at the office more than I am at home. I work Monday-Friday leaing the house at 6am every morning and getting home at about 6 every night or sometimes I don't get home until as late as 8 or 9 I am here more than home.

How long would you say would be ideal?

I can coem in here pretty well anytime I want, it's an old victorian house the office is in and I have keys and whatnot. I think I migt really think about it here. :) Thanks
