Ginxies Story

I also am not breeding now because of this very situation. Admittingly when I bred persians things were not well in my life and I neglected mine as far as cleaning their faces and not brushing them, but I have never just neglected them to the point of bringing harm to them. Now I have 2 long hairs and the rest are short haired, persians are ALOT of work.

Silverlady , I am sorry to hear about your last silver girl. I did have one of mine put down awhile ago and it is heart wrenching. I have no children (by choice) and they are as much family to me (the cats) as any child could ever be to a parent.

I have the occasional litter here and there just for my pleasure and I might possibly be keeping Cameo and her sister. Her sister was born without a tail.. I have never had it happen before and I was distraught when she was born. I thought it would cause her problems because it had a crook in it . The tail was veryhard and curved downwards. But now she is almost 5 weeks old and she is a little terror. I would rehome her to a "special" home , but for now she is quite welcome to stay in ours if and ever we decide to rehome her. She is a BLack Silver Tabby smoke I think , most unusual colours I have had from this mating. I can barely tell what they are. She is a long haired variant and her sister is an exotic. I will do some photos of her later today when I am home. You all will just go awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

 Aaw, shame, they are too cute. I think Ginxies babies look a bit like her. How adorable. HeShe is so gorgeous.

What are all those rosettes behind HeShe for?? Did you get them for your cats or birds??

Gorgeous pics, you have a lovely family there. I have 1 tabby multi colour cat, Clovis. He is a sweet thing, we got him off a cat shelter beginning of last year. Very much a male, doesn't like the kids too much. But so affectionate to me. And also very scared of the little 12 year old female cat next door (Clovis is nearly 4 years old).

:D

When the babies were born I thought .." Oh they arent that bad" but as they got older I knew the persian look that I love so much was NOT going to be passed onto them LOL :fun:

But , they are half moggie!! They won't be anything like her as they progress. Ginxy has good eyes and an ok nose. I do like the more typey look ( flat nose) These are my most prized kittens , you will see the difference in a showquality and not so showy :hyper: and the ribbons are for my cats

Ahh! smashing girls and boys. My girls were all part of the family, Silver was a Tortie-Cameo , a lovely lass, i hand reared the litter of six for four days because Athena the mum didn't have any milk, they all went bald, but the fur grew back later.
Are you sure Cameos sister didnt have her tail bitten when she was being born. This happened to one of my babies, the end of her tail went hard and i just broke it off when she was older.

Nope , I was there when she was born , Cameo has a tail fault , it's crooked at the base and is sideways, the other one has no tail. First time this ever happened. Madison has had all normal babies before by Perseus but this time they were messed up

As promised here is Cameo's sister. Ignore her dirty face , she is a right pig! She was lying upside down in our chair today in the conservatory I woke them up to take these, notice she has one green eye and one amber. Told u these kittens were a strange mating.
